This will be my first blog and wait for it. It's not only a blog but also has a vlog attached. So today we will be visiting Mithilanchal also known as the birthplace of maa Sita. However the actual Janakpur is situated in Nepal which also shares its border with Mithilanchal.
Exactly two years before.. I was in Madhubani, a northern district of Bihar which shares the state of Bihar's border with Nepal. It's border areas such as check posts and crossing points are monitored and guarded by the Jawans and officers of SSB. One of the Para-military forces which comes under The Ministry of Home affairs.
Madhubani happens to be my maternal Grandfather's home (Nanihaal). I always felt more energetic whenever I got the chance to spend my days or holiday's there, I think this is due to it's amazing climatic condition which is far better and healthier than other places. The district climate has some positive effects of great Himalaya regions, but has some adverse effects too as the second side of the coin.
For example-- It is considered a flood prone zone due to the principal rivers in Madhubani district from east to west which are Kosi Dhar, Bhutahi Balan, Kamla Balan and Dhaus Nadi, Which flows from north to south (Nepal to Bihar).
Although, a barrage known as Kamala barrage has been constructed by the State Government near Jainagar to decrease the flood effects.
This district also comes in an earthquake prone zone five including Dharbhabga, Sitamarhi, Supaul and Araria. Because Bihar falls in a high seismic zone, it falls on the boundary of the tectonic plate joining the Himalayan tectonic plate near the Bihar -- Nepal Border area.
However, the district Madhubani is not only rich in culture and heritage of kings but also in shastra and literature. Some notable people of mithila are Darbhnaga Maharaj, Vidyapati and Kalidas etc. It also has many ancient ponds, temples & places which will always remind you of much developed scriptures and art works of that old times. Madhubani paintings need no introduction today as it has gained popularity not only in the state or within the country but also in the foreign countries. Maithili language is considered as one of the 22 recognised Indian languages, and was added in the 8th schedule in the year 2003. It's enough now I think you must enjoy the video too.
okay, Have fun guys.
Bye
